Information/Application

Membership in the Springdale Figure Skating Club is open to all skaters.

USFSA registration fees and a subscription to SKATING magazine for the first family
member are included in the membership dues. The dues allow us to support a variety
of Club activities, print our quarterly newsletter, Ice Times, send notices and other
mailings to members and hold Club social functions. Membership in the Club and
USFSA becomes effective July 1 of the current year and is valid through June 30 of
the following year. Dues cannot be pro-rated.

There are several levels of membership:

First Family Member (Home Club Membership) $80
Additional Family Members (Home Club Membership) $37
First Family Member Associate Membership (must be a
Home Club Member of another club) $40

Volunteers

There are many opportunities to volunteer for Club activities such as Hospitality,
Running Music for tests and shows, Community Service Committee, helping with
Basic Skills Competition and shows, and many other committees.

The Springdale Figure Skating Club welcomes the help of both members and
non-members, adults and children. If you have any special areas of interest or
expertise, your participation would be greatly appreciated.

Contact SpringdaleFSC1@aol.com or call (203) 968-9000, ext. 4
if you would like to become involved.

Community Service and Caring Committee

The purpose of the Community Service and Caring Committee is to offer members the
opportunity to directly participate in community service activities. The primary mission
of the Committee is to expose our children to caring for those less fortunate than themselves.
Members and their families are invited to participate in the programs that are organized.

Etiquette

All skaters and parents are expected to adhere to the Springdale FSC's "Guidelines for
Conduct of Skaters and Rules for Figure Skating Sessions" and the Stamford Twin Rinks
general rules and "Parent Code of Conduct". The Springdale Figure Skating Club encourages
all skaters and parents to demonstrate good skating etiquette and sportsmanship.
